Ambassador to Germany, at the Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin. Kornblum, who has the best connections to the American administration, warned not to expect too much from the Government under Barack Obama. Under the new President, the connections to the European Governments would ensure sustainably improve, but would be the first not a priority for the U.S. Government. Currently, too many problems of its own, and last but not least, the developments in the Middle East would be in focus.
After a dedicated discussion with Kornblum a reception for the guests joined in. Foreign Minister (ret’d) Hans-Dietrich Genscher, suggested, chatted with Dr. Holger Hatje, the Chairman of the Board of Berliner Volksbank and its colleague Stephan Schwarz.
